Royal Autopsy returns for a second series to investigate the cause of death of four famous British monarchs: King George IV, King Henry IV, Queen Anne I and Queen Mary I. Professor Alice Roberts will bring together a blend of historical and medical expertise, and by using contemporaneous accounts and documents piece together how and why these monarchs died. Each investigation follows an autopsy conducted by Home Office Pathologist Dr. Brett Lockyer which will use a unique combination of prosthetic bodies to reveal how each of the monarchs perished. Further forensic analysis and toxicology testing is used to determine whether there is any evidence of foul play in each case. Professor Alice Roberts will then take her findings to the world’s leading medicolegal experts and constitutional historians to determine how each ailment and affliction might have impacted the monarch’s reign in their later years and in the run-up to their deaths, with the final dying days of these historic figures brought to life in vivid detail with premium scripted dramatic scenes. [SEASON 2] Episode 1 George IV: The Party King Episode 2 Mary I: Bloody Mary Episode 3 Henry IV: The Usurper Episode 4 Anne: The Forgotten Queen PRODUCED BY Phoenix Television, GroupM Motion Entertainment

This series is above the expectations they had about it. It is very fast (beyond the tempo of each episode) conflicts are able to develop and resolve in each episode. Which for one as a spectator is very good since the rhythm is never lost. On the other hand, humor management is constant and gives it its point of grace so that conflicts, which are very deep, can occur with a lightness that catches. The chemistry that Paula Usero and Carol Rovira keep in the series is the same as they have in "Love Is Forever" so in just 10 minutes they catch you in a way that when you already see them together you already know that everything will work out , they are the basis of this series and the writers notice that they know it since the series is by and for them.
